Prof.T.S.Natarajan,
Dept. of Physics, IIT, Madras: |

He
initiated the students by the explanation regarding
the history of Science and Technology and its impact
on future developments. The distinguished Scientists
i.e Sir I.Newton, Einstein, M.Faraday and their
experiences in observing the nature have paved the
way to distinguish them from others. There are so
many events in the nature that we are observing
in our day to day life have laid the strong foundation
to the to-day’s technology. Each student has
to question themselves while observing the experiments—how
& why happening, what is the reason for it,
why it could be or it could not be. In this way
they have to develop the habit of thinking while
reading the subjects. Every B.Tech students has
to concentrate on the concept of the subject rather
than simply reading and reproducing during the examinations
and getting marks. The students are advised to strive
hard to develop the character of thinking the subject
and understanding it in its true sense.
He
also demonstrated simple experts on the dias and
related these experts with inventions of Gelelio,
Newton, Einstein.

He
initiated the first year B.Tech students by referring
various technological recent trends such as VLSI,
Nanotechnology, Computer networks & Communications
with their analogues in our day- to- day life.
He
also stressed the importance of Scientific inventions
to understand technological developments in most technical
subjects such as VLSI, Computer networks etc.,
